Cadets – Thriving Through the Challenges of Secondary School
As children move into secondary school, our Cadets program offers a steady anchor amidst life’s changes. With the Sansum family spirit, Cadets find camaraderie in teammates—often within their own school—creating strong friendships that help them navigate challenges like bullying with resilience and confidence.
Cadets continue sparring as part of their character-building journey. They also follow a Cadet Black Belt syllabus, progressing to a new belt every three months, building toward Black Belt success. In each class, they:
- Build resilience and courage through sparring and personal growth
- Maintain a high standard of conduct and self-discipline—skills for life
- Form a supportive peer network, helping them face school challenges together
- Stay focused and goal-driven as they work toward their Black Belt journey
While no program can promise a bully-free path, Cadets gain the confidence, focus, and support to stand strong. With their Sansum family and teammates, they’re ready to thrive in this exciting new chapter.
