Sansum Martial Arts Elgin, established in 1999, is the heart of our association and the foundation of our journey. Among the champions we’ve cultivated, we proudly produced Olympic athlete Damon Sansum, who competed on the Team GB Taekwondo team for 12 years. Now a school owner and lead instructor, Master Damon’s world-class instruction helps elevate our athletes. We’ve produced hundreds of European, Scottish, and World champions, and we continue to strive for the next level. Through monthly masterclasses, open to other martial arts styles across Northeast Scotland, many benefit from his expertise. Our team of 28 instructors and helpers are experts in preschool, kids, cadet, and adult teaching. We’re a recognized center of excellence with Developing the Young Workforce (DYW) and hold employer recognition. Additionally, we’re recognized by Sport Moray, having won coaching awards. Some of our team members are also involved in the hit ITVX show “Total Kombat.”
